Happiness is....
...One word: Sanjaya!!!!!!!!
Finally Sanjaya is headed home! I was a little nervous when he and Lakisha were in the bottom two. Yikes! I loved that Melinda just sat down in the middle of the stage. I love Martina McBride. She just rocks! =)

Movie night
Trevor is out of town (again!!), so Jen and I watched the movie, "The Other Sister". I had never seen it before and she said that I must see it. It was sooooo adorable....but the last 20 minutes I was a pool of tears.
This movie has Juliette Lewis and the actress that plays Harriet on Studio 60 and Hector from The Princess Diaries and Phoebe's brother from Friends. =)

Date night with my Tyler
We had a good time on our date night. Tyler and I loved the movie Bridge to Terabithia. It wasn't a big budget movie and would probably be called cheesy compared to the big movies out there, but it was a really sweet (sometimes bittersweet) movie. If you have the time, I would suggest reading the book first, that will help endear you to this movie. I wouldn't suggest it to kids younger than 9 or 10, just for the simple fact that it doesn't have all the hoopla to hold their attentions. It has a story line that might be hard for a 1st grader to relate to. The father in the movie does curse a couple of times, but other than that it is a very clean movie. I will warn you though, it has sad parts to it that re-enforce my caution to kids younger than 10.
Tyler and I then made our way over to our new fav Mexican restaurant, TlaQuepaque, where we were able to share some silly and yet, constructive conversation. It was a great night. =)

A new beginning...
I thought that it was about time to switch from pleonast and myspace and start over in cyberspace.
I have no idea what this blog will turn out like content-wise, but I will try my best to insert something wise and profound every now and then. :) We will see...
